Allison "Allie" Bates is the community coordinator for Age Friendly Lakeland, a committee of Lakeland Vision, Inc. She has a passion in working the Age Friendly movement through collaborative action and planning. Allie has been in the Polk County for 8 years. She has a 10+ year history in the Banking & Finance industry. She uniquely has the experience of collaborating with a team and being out of the box creative. She is passionate about driving success from open communication from members of all ages in the community with both interpersonal interactions and more expansive use of internet-based technologies. She has been a member of BLFS for 3 years and is proud to serve as Treasurer.
